For registered dairy farms with 500 or more animals seeking departmental technical support to build their own plant.

What Happens Next

Household registrations are assessed against the approved criteria for households keeping 5 to 10 animals.
Where registrations in a district exceed that district's quota, allocation is decided by computerised balloting.
Distribution of household digesters is managed by the District Administration, which will make contact directly.
Village nominations are verified for available feedstock by the Livestock Department before a site is approved.
